Eligibility & Documentation

This event is open to individuals who hold a valid Singapore motorcycle license (or equivalent open-class international motorcycle license).

  • For Rental Riders: You are legally required to obtain and carry an International Driving Permit (IDP) prior to departure. Our local rental partners cannot release a motorcycle to you without this document.
  • For Bring Your Own (BYO) Riders: Your motorcycle must be properly registered, insured, and legally capable of crossing international borders into Thailand to meet us at the rally point.

The organizers reserve the right to deny participation if a participant’s riding ability is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for the demanding nature of this mountain tour.

Registration & Payment

Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. This information will be used solely for organizing the event, including booking accommodations and coordinating rental fleet availability. Any incorrect or misleading information may result in delays or disqualification.

Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been received. All payments are non-refundable once confirmed.

Insurance Requirement

All participants must possess comprehensive travel insurance that explicitly covers motorcycle touring activities in Thailand for the entire duration of the tour.

It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure their insurance policy meets these requirements and includes medical coverage and emergency evacuation. TRI333PLE and its local partners will not be held liable for any consequences arising from a participant’s failure to secure appropriate insurance. Proof of valid insurance must be presented upon request.

Safety & Road Conduct

The Mae Hong Son loop features 1,864 technical curves, steep alpine gradients, and varying road surfaces. All participants are expected to adhere strictly to the road rules and traffic regulations of Thailand.

Riders are strictly responsible for their own safety. You are expected to ride within your personal limits at all times and maintain safe following distances within the convoy structure.

Support Vehicle & Breakdown Policy

A dedicated support vehicle will accompany the convoy to assist with luggage transport (for rider with pillion), logistical support, and basic emergency assistance.

For Riders Using Rental Motorcycles:

In the event of a mechanical failure, our support crew and local motorcycle rental partners will coordinate to troubleshoot the issue or provide a replacement motorcycle to ensure you can continue the expedition with minimal disruption.

For Riders Bringing Their Own Motorcycles (BYO):

While our crew will provide roadside logistical assistance and help coordinate with local workshops, you are riding your personal asset. Should your motorcycle experience a major breakdown or unrepairable fault, you are entirely responsible for the costs and logistics of towing or repatriating your motorcycle back to your home country (e.g., Singapore). TRI333PLE will not cover cross-border towing fees.

Risk and Liability

Participating in an international motorcycle tour involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, unpredictable weather, and challenging road conditions. By registering, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks and agree to fully release TRI333PLE, its staff, and its local partners from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from your participation.

Cancellation and Refunds

Organizer-Initiated Cancellations:

In the rare event of a total cancellation of the tour by TRI333PLE prior to departure (e.g., due to extreme unforeseen circumstances), participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.

Participant-Initiated Cancellations:

No refunds will be provided for cancellations initiated by participants after payment has been verified and confirmed.

Itinerary Changes:

Mountain weather, road closures, or localized conditions in Northern Thailand may necessitate route alterations. The organizers reserve the right to modify the itinerary for the safety and benefit of the group. Such changes are considered part of the adventure and are non-refundable.

Privacy Policy

All personal data collected during registration will be used exclusively for event logistics (e.g., hotel reservations, rental coordination, and emergency contact procedures). Your information will never be shared with unrelated third parties or used for external marketing without your explicit consent.

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for the Mae Hong Son Loop Expedition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the stipulations outlined in these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not proceed with your registration.

These Terms and Conditions are established to ensure a safe, transparent, and professionally managed adventure for all riders in the convoy.
