This event is open to individuals holding a valid Class 2 or Class 2A Singapore motorcycle license (or equivalent open-class international license). Due to the high-speed nature of the North-South Expressway and the steep gradients of the Karak Highway, motorcycles must be capable of sustaining highway speeds safely.
- For Bring Your Own (BYO) Riders: Your motorcycle must possess an active road tax and comprehensive vehicle insurance that legally covers riding in Malaysia.
- For Rental Riders: You are responsible for holding the appropriate international driving permits or local licenses required by our motorcycle rental partners.
Registration, Payment & Inclusions
Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. This information will be used solely for organizing the event, including booking hotel accommodations. Any incorrect or misleading information may result in delays or disqualification.
Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been received. All payments are non-refundable once confirmed.
Insurance Requirement
All participants (both main riders and pillions) must possess comprehensive travel insurance that explicitly covers motorcycle touring activities in Malaysia for the entire duration of the tour.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure their insurance policy meets these requirements. TRI333PLE will not be held liable for any consequences arising from a participant’s failure to secure appropriate medical and evacuation coverage. Proof of valid insurance must be presented upon request.
Safety & Road Conduct
This expedition involves intense long-distance expressway riding and technical mountain twisties. All participants are expected to adhere strictly to the road rules and traffic regulations of Malaysia.
Riders are strictly responsible for their own safety. You are expected to ride within your personal limits at all times, maintain safe following distances within the convoy structure, and follow the directions of the lead marshals.
Support Vehicle & Breakdown Policy
A dedicated support vehicle and professional bike tow service will accompany the convoy to assist with basic troubleshooting, jump-starts, and luggage transport (for eligible Rider + Pillion packages).
For Riders Bringing Their Own Motorcycles (BYO):
While our crew will provide roadside logistical assistance and help tow your bike to a safe location or nearby workshop, you are riding your personal asset. Should your motorcycle experience a major unrepairable fault, you are entirely responsible for the costs and logistics of repatriating your motorcycle back to Singapore.
For Riders Using Rental Motorcycles:
Our team and local rental partners will assist in coordinating repairs or providing replacement vehicles to ensure you can continue the journey with minimal disruption.
Risk and Liability
Motorcycle touring involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, unpredictable weather, and challenging road conditions. By registering, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks and agree to fully release TRI333PLE and its partners from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from your participation.
Cancellation and Refunds
Organizer-Initiated Cancellations:
In the rare event of a total cancellation of the tour by TRI333PLE prior to departure, participants will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
Participant-Initiated Cancellations:
No refunds will be provided for cancellations initiated by participants after payment has been verified and confirmed.
Itinerary Changes:
The organizers reserve the right to modify the route or schedule due to weather, traffic, or road closures on the mountain passes. Such changes are considered part of the adventure and are non-refundable.
Privacy Policy
All personal data collected during registration will be used exclusively for event logistics (e.g., hotel reservations and emergency contact procedures). Your information will never be shared with unrelated third parties without your explicit consent.
Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Malaysia Weekend Sprint Expedition, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the stipulations outlined in these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not proceed with your registration.
These Terms and Conditions are established to ensure a safe, transparent, and professionally managed adventure for all riders in the convoy.
