Due to the highway speeds and long distances of this tour, motorcycles must be capable of sustaining highway speeds safely.
- For Bring Your Own (BYO) Riders: Your motorcycle must possess an active road tax and comprehensive vehicle insurance that legally covers riding in Malaysia, and must be serviced and roadworthy before the tour.
- For Rental Riders: You are responsible for holding the appropriate license and International Driving Permit (IDP) required by the motorcycle rental provider and Malaysian law.
Registration, Payment & Inclusions
Participants must provide accurate and complete information during registration. This information will be used solely for organizing the event, including booking hotel accommodations. Any incorrect or misleading information may result in delays or disqualification.
Registration is confirmed only after full payment has been received. All payments are non-refundable once confirmed, except where TRI333PLE cancels the tour (see Cancellation and Refunds). Riders who are unable to pay via PayNow may contact us on WhatsApp to arrange other payment methods.
The tour package includes:
- 2 nights of accommodation, based on your selected package
- Fuel for the duration of the tour
- Selected group meals
- Support vehicle for breakdown assistance
The tour package does not include motorcycle rental, vehicle insurance, travel insurance, flights to Singapore for overseas riders, meals not listed as group meals, or personal expenses such as alcohol, shopping and laundry.
Insurance Requirement
All participants (both main riders and pillions) must possess comprehensive travel insurance that explicitly covers motorcycle touring activities in Malaysia for the entire duration of the tour.
It is the sole responsibility of the participant to ensure their insurance policy meets these requirements. TRI333PLE will not be held liable for any consequences arising from a participant’s failure to secure appropriate medical and evacuation coverage. Proof of valid insurance must be presented upon request.
Safety & Road Conduct
This tour involves long-distance highway riding as well as winding roads. All participants are expected to adhere strictly to the road rules and traffic regulations of Malaysia.
Riders are strictly responsible for their own safety. You are expected to ride within your personal limits at all times, maintain safe following distances within the convoy structure, and follow the directions of the lead marshals.
Support Vehicle & Breakdown Policy
A support vehicle will accompany the convoy for breakdown assistance only. It does not carry luggage, so all riders and pillions should pack to fit on their motorcycles.
For Riders Bringing Their Own Motorcycles (BYO):
While our crew will provide roadside assistance for minor issues and help move your bike to a safe location or nearby workshop, you are riding your personal asset. Should your motorcycle experience a major unrepairable fault, you are entirely responsible for the costs and logistics of repairing your motorcycle and repatriating it back to Singapore.
For Riders Using Rental Motorcycles:
Rental motorcycles are subject to the rental provider's terms and conditions. In the event of a breakdown, our team will assist in coordinating with the rental provider, but a replacement motorcycle cannot be guaranteed.
Motorcycle Rentals
Motorcycle rental is not included in the tour package. Riders who require a rental may contact us, and we will try to source options and inform you of the rental prices involved. Rental fees are separate from the tour package, and any rental arrangement is subject to availability and the rental provider's terms.
Rental fees are non-refundable once the rental has been confirmed, except where TRI333PLE cancels the tour.
Risk and Liability
Motorcycle touring involves inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, unpredictable weather, and challenging road conditions. By registering, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept these risks and agree to fully release TRI333PLE and its partners from any liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from your participation.
Cancellation and Refunds
Organizer-Initiated Cancellations:
In the rare event of a total cancellation of the tour by TRI333PLE prior to departure, participants will receive a full refund of all amounts paid, including the registration fee and any motorcycle rental fees.
Participant-Initiated Cancellations:
No refunds will be provided for cancellations initiated by participants after payment has been verified and confirmed. Rental fees are likewise non-refundable.
Itinerary Changes:
The organizers reserve the right to modify the route, schedule, accommodation, meal venues or stops due to weather, traffic, road closures or availability. Such changes are considered part of the adventure and are non-refundable.
Privacy Policy
All personal data collected during registration will be used exclusively for event logistics (e.g., hotel reservations, motorcycle rentals and emergency contact procedures). Your information will never be shared with unrelated third parties without your explicit consent.
Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Sungai Lembing & Desaru Weekend Sprint (23–25 July 2027), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the stipulations outlined in these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not proceed with your registration.
