Malaysia Motorcycle Tour 2023 Story: THE VISION
Before October 2023, TRI333PLE was primarily a media house. We reviewed the bikes and shared the stories, but we always felt something was missing: The community.
We launched the Two Wheel Freedom Ride to see if our audience wanted to step out from behind the screen and onto the tarmac with us. The goal was to deliver a premium, curated touring experience that felt effortless for the rider.
The Response: Every slot was taken in less than 3 hours.
Motorcycle Safety & Insurance Partnership: THE ALLIANCE
Freedom on the road comes from knowing you’re protected. This journey marked our first major collaboration with DirectAsia Insurance. While we focused on the curves and the hidden food spots, they provided the safety net. This partnership set the standard for every TRI333PLE tour that followed.
3-Day Malaysia Riding Itinerary: THE JOURNEY
DAY 01: The Coastal Run (421KM)
Sector: Gelang Patah → Sungai Lembing
We skipped the highways for the plantation roads of Bekok, stopping for You Ji Wanton Noodles—a local secret. We ended the day at Casa Hill Resort, tucked away in the quiet hills of Sungai Lembing.
DAY 02: Sunrise & Summits (311KM)
Sector: Sungai Lembing → Genting Highlands
We traded handlebars for 4x4s to catch the sunrise over the mist before heading West. The climb into Genting Highlands provided a perfect contrast: gritty, technical riding by day, and the luxury of Grand Ion Deleman by night.
DAY 03: The Long Way Home (397KM)
Sector: Genting → Puteri Harbour
The technical descent from the highlands tested our focus. We managed a seamless logistical run south, concluding with a farewell dinner at Spice Grill, Puteri Harbour. We started as 30 strangers; we finished as a crew.
Tour Logistics and Support: BEHIND THE SCENES
The biggest challenge wasn't the 1,129km—it was the logistics. As our first official tour, the pressure was on to prove that TRI333PLE could manage a full convoy with professional precision. From fuel-stop timing to luggage transport, every detail had to be perfect.
