Motorcycle Touring Academy for Singapore Riders: THE VISION
Most riders own a motorcycle, but few have the confidence to truly tour. The gap between a daily commute and a multi-day cross-border expedition is massive. Our objective with the TRI333PLET Tour Ready Program was to bridge that gap. We equipped riders with the hard skills, safety protocols, and mental confidence needed to explore the world on two wheels. This wasn't just a tour; it was an academy.
Step-by-Step Motorcycle Training Curriculum: THE JOURNEY
PHASE 1: The Technical Workshop
Location: Throttle Therapy, Singapore
A tourer needs to be self-sufficient. We gathered at Throttle Therapy for a full day of technical drilling: tire patching, chain adjustment, and wheel removal. Safety was further reinforced through a First Responder course, ensuring every rider became an asset to the convoy in an emergency.
PHASE 2: The Shakedown Ride (110KM)
Gelang Patah → Kulai
Theory met the road during our first cross-border shakedown. This ride was designed to test convoy discipline and communication systems under real conditions. We concluded at Cafe Jufei, proving that the best rewards are always found at the end of a disciplined ride.
PHASE 3: The Graduation Tour (3 Days / 2 Nights)
Port Dickson & Melaka
The Final Test. A 3-day journey to put our new skills into practice. On Day 1, we navigated the trunk roads to Port Dickson, stopping at Grandma's Noodle (姥妈子面馆) before resting at Lexis Port Dickson. Day 2 took us to historic Melaka for a visit to Kafe Kampung Kaw and a cultural evening at Encore Melaka.
THE HOMEWARD RUN: Return to Singapore
The fleet moved as a cohesive unit back to the border, stopping at Pagoh and Spg Renggam with absolute precision. We concluded the journey at Woh Bee Canteen for a final debrief and a lucky draw sponsored by our partners at DirectAsia Insurance.
REFLECTIONS
We started with a group of individuals; we finished as a certified touring fleet. The TRI333PLET Tour Ready Program proved that with the right preparation, the world is open to anyone on two wheels. To the graduates of Class 2025: You are now ready for the big leagues.
